A SOUTH Australian man will be charged after police found cash and drugs in his car near Nhill on Friday.

The man, 51, was driving west along the Western Highway at Lawloit, about 15 kilometres west of Nhill, when he was intercepted by police about 12.50pm.

Police allegedly found a large amount of cash and a small quantity of cannabis in the man’s car.

He was also tested for drugs in his system. Police await results from the test.

Police will charge the man on summons with dealing property suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
